Disappointed, the phone was sold as 'pristine'. On receipt it had marks on the bottom left of the case and was needing cleaned. The battery level was also only 80%, generally acceptable but much less than expected.

Yes it had what described scratches on body but glass was fine and as soon as I put cover case with screen protector, looked almost new again. Delivery was quick and secure. I had always been an Android user until I purchased the refurbished iPhone 12 from Handtec. Since I already have an Ipad pro 12.9 for my digital sheet music (this device is by some margin the musician's choice for sheet music) it made sense to ditch Android and go with the iPhone. I had always resisted as I needed a dual sim phone, but now that iPhones have esim and nano sim I took the plunge. The phone works seamlessly, is beautifully designed and the service received from Handtec was first class. No turning back.

To be honest I didn’t think that the phone would be scratch free as I didn’t order a pristine phone, but it was so good I didn’t see a single mark on it anywhere. As far as I could tell it was as new on the outside. Very very pleased. The only problem I have had is that the volume took some sorting out, which I learned to do by watching videos on utube, so it is mostly sorted except for the fact that I can no longer use the video for WhatsApp as the person on the other end can’t hear me but I can live with that.

I can only say that this purchase is good. I did write an email as we experienced a difficulty with a blacked out screen, to which we got no reply. However we googled and found that doing a hard reboot could fix it. That said. I have another purchase from handtec which brought me back. It is more of a gauge. The iPhone XR was purchased in 2020 and has been perfect all the way through. Still going strong. Initially my pristine phone needed changed due to debris. Handtec answered our query immediately and the replacement phone is still perfect 2 years later.
