Samsung’s next flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 9 is almost around the corner. All in all, the Note 9 is packed with a bigger screen and power that is seen ever before.
While there have been a great number of improvements and additions in the Note 9, we have introduced the most strikingly obvious of them all below:
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
As far as the display goes, Samsung has been quite relaxed as far as physical upgrades go. However, there certainly have been a number of design modifications. For instance, the bezels on the Note 9 are slimmed down a little bit. This allows a larger screen to be packed within the same area. From 6.3 inches on the Note 8, the screen size has been slightly increased to 6.4 inches on this latest addition.
Moreover, the screen now features a Super AMOLED Panel that runs at an impressive resolution of 2960 x 1440 in an incredible aspect ratio of 18 to 5 to 9.
BATTERY AND PROCESSOR
Though it is true that the design of Note 9 has not changed significantly as compared to the previous edition, Note 8, there have certainly been a lot of changes on the insides.
The greatest improvement comes in the processor. Note 9 features an added Snapdragon 845 processor that has been powering all the flagship 2018 smartphones including the S9 plus and S9.
As far as the battery improvement goes, a massive 4000mAh battery is employed to power this powerful machine up. This will allow the note 9 to stay powered on for a significantly longer period of time. On top of that, Note 9 also features that signature adaptive charging and wireless charging.
While the camera has been made smarter via the use of artificial intelligence, there hasalso been a significantimprovement in its mechanics. The camera specifications remain the same as S9 plus i.e. a 12 megapixelslens on the rear with an 8 megapixelslens on the front of the phone. Based on the conditions of the lighting, this camera is capable of switching between an aperture of f/2.4 and f/1.5 for a better quality in low-light.
On top of that, a 2x optical zoom is featured with the rear camera due to the addition of a second lens allowing natural boke photographs via the use of Live Focus.
