Huawei Honor 10 – Design, Features and Specifications
It seems that Huawei is serious in pouring their time and effort in designing every flagship phone they recently released. Indeed the giant Chinese phone company has stepped up their phones when it comes to design and performance, and the Huawei Honor 10 is of no exemption.
What’s Huawei Honor 10 Got to Offer?
To begin with, Honor 10 is designed as the cheaper version of the Huawei P20 targeted at the mid-priced range phone market. The phone was just unveiled to the public on April 2018 and was released in May 2018.
Huawei’s Honor 10 is packed with remarkable features you won’t easily find in the market today considering its cheaper price.
Huawei Honor 10 – Design, Display and Camera
With a killer price, Huawei Honor 10 is big in design. Featuring an ultra-bright coloring, it has a mixed metal sides and shiny glass back. The phone has a dimension of 149.60 x 71.20 x 7.70 and weighs about 153.00 grams. Its screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and the phone is available in several colors including Midnight Black, Mirage Purple and Phantom Blue colors. Overall, its sleek and compact style makes it look quite premium and more expensive that it actually is.
Honor 10 comes with a 5.84-inch screen display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It has an LCD display which may not be as great as the cutting-edge OLED display but still offers decent brightness and good color saturation.
Just like most Android phones today, it also features the same notch design. But there is a way for you to hide this notch in the software settings which will leave you with a plain black status bar.
Honor 10 is equipped with a dual lens 24 MP plus 16 MP rear cameras as well as a front-facing 24 MP camera. Although not really that excellent when it comes to low light or under awkward lighting conditions, Honor 10’s cameras generally offer surprising quality photo captures you won’t expect from a phone with this price range. The phone supports an AI camera mode that works pretty much great in fixing blemishes, enhancing contrast and adding blurred background effects on pictures also known as the bokeh effect.
The fingerprint scanner of the Honor 10 phone sits at the bottom embedded in its glass panel itself and has the same location as its home button.
