Garmin GPSMAP® 550 Overview
Preloaded U.K/Ireland Marine Blue Chart carthography (EU706L): Detailed coverage of the British Isles in their entirety, including the Thames Estuary, Caledonian Canal, Outer Hebrides, Shetland and Orkney Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, and the Irish Sea. Coverage across the English Channel to Cherbourg, Fr., including the Channel Islands.
This slim-line chartplotter flush-mounts easily in your boat and sports preloaded detailed maps for the U.K. The Garmin GPSMAP 550 also features a 5” QVGA display and simple, straightforward buttons and menus. You can add the optional BlueChart® g2 Vision SD card for even more enhanced features.
Navigate with Ease
The 550 includes detailed coastal maps for the U.K as well as a worldwide basemap of satellite images for other areas. The SD card slot makes it easy to add additional maps without connecting to a computer. And with just a few buttons and a simple, intuitive interface, the 550 makes navigating your way through the water easy.
Add Sonar
The sounder version, Garmin GPSMAP 550s, has the option of connecting a powerful dual frequency transducer that clearly paints depth contours, fish targets and structure whether you’re fishing in freshwater or off the coast. It’s also CANet™ compatible, so you can share sounder data with another chartplotter on your boat.
Add Extras with BlueChart g2 Vision
With the optional BlueChart g2 Vision SD card, you can add a whole new dimension of exceptional features to your chartplotter.
