after 5 swims... its totally on the ball regarding laps and i'm already obsessed with the data feedback on garmin connect... its true, strap it on and forget about counting or managing your drills - this little beaut does it for you. handtec definitely the cheapest around

Amazing! This is the best watch out there for lap swimmers. I swam competitively in high school and recently got back into the pool due to the Olympics (Inspired) ;-) This watch does everything that it says it does very well and I highly recommend it if you want to improve your fitness and have it monitored.

Garmin Swim
A swimming watch designed for pool use that tracks your distance, pace, stroke count and more. You can also log drills or start timed intervals without constantly monitoring the pool clock. It even calculates your swolf score to help you gauge your swimming efficiency, making it ideal for lap swimmers of all levels

Strap It On and Dive In
Its sleek profile allows it to cut right through the water, so it won’t slow you down. The battery can be easily replaced whenever needed (about once a year), instead of going through the hassle of sending it to the manufacturer.

Stay Motivated
It displays your weekly accumulated distance under the time of day and also includes dual time zones and an alarm.

Analyse and Share Workouts
After your workout, upload your swim data to Garmin Connect, which lets you view your detailed metrics and track your progress over time with you friends, family etc. Through the ANT+™ wireless technology and the USB stick that comes with your Garmin Swim, your workout data automatically transfers to your computer when in range which is MAC and Windows Compatible.
