The FonePad is a compact tablet that doubles as a 3G phone as well. This means that you are always connected - whether you want to browse the web or make calls - one device does it all.

Metallic design

The sleek and compact tablet has an elegant metallic finish [available in grey and gold]. It fits perfectly in your palm and is light to carry.

Processing

It comes with an Intel processor - the 1.2GHz Atom Z2420, 1GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU.
The next generation Intel Atom mobile CPU is very efficient for power consumption and enables computing all day.

Storage

The tablet comes armed with 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that makes it possible to expand the memory to up to 32 GB additional storage. The Asus Cloud allows you to view, create, edit and share your files from anywhere whilst saving it to your WebStorage account.

Display

The FonePad has a 7-inch display with an HD 1280×800 resolution screen. The screen enables viewing at wider angles - up to 178° - for a richer visual experience.

Camera and Sound

The tablet features a front 1.2 megapixel camera for video chatting and to capture every moment. It also comes eqipped with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology with MaxxAudio 3 processing by Waves that ensures clear, well-rounded sound quality.

Built-in 3G

The Built-in 3G means ASUS Fonepad is an always-connected mobile device. It makes web browsing, fast downloads, smooth streaming of audio and video very easy. Owing to its full 3G telephony support, Fonepad can also be used for voice calls using the built-in noise-cancelling digital microphone or a Bluetooth headset.

Exclusive ASUS Apps

The Asus Fonepad comes loaded with some exclusive Asus apps.Use the Floating Appfor better management of the apps and multi-tasking. There is the SuperNote Lite for hand-written notes and drawing, and WebStorage Office Online for making Microsoft Office compatible documents. Fonepad™ users are also eligible for 5 GB of free lifetime Asus WebStorage.
