Description
Apple The New iPad 32GB WiFi White (3rd Generation)
Switch on the new Apple iPad and you'll be instantaneously struck by the
clarity of the display before you - a 9.7 inch Retina screen with a
mind blowing resolution of 2048x1536 making everything look and feel
incredibly detailed and lifelike. The super crisp display has four times
as many pixels than can be counted on the iPad 2 and a million more
than can be found on a full HDTV! That's a high enough resolution that
makes it literally impossible for the human eye to detect those
individual pixels making this the best display to date that can be found
on a mobile device.
KEY FEATURES
Retina Display (2048 x 1536) at 264 ppi
44 Percent Greater Colour Saturation than iPad 2
Quad Core A5X processor (no clock speed specified)
5 Megapixel iSight Camera
Redesigned Camera app for iPad
HD (1080p) Video Recording
Bluetooth 4.0
Voice Dictation Support Built into the Virtual Keyboard
The prime elements
that make up the Apple iPad - the processor, display, camera and the
wireless connection have all been improved on. And despite the new A5X
chip with quad core graphics processing driving each one of those 3.1
million pixels on the Retina display, the new iPad is STILL capable of
its legendary 10 hour battery life. And just wait until you experience
the quality of the photos it can take. The same 5-element lens and
hybrid IR filter from the iPhone 4S, the iSight camera on the Apple iPad
is up there with the best cameras to be found on any mobile device.
All the usual default Apple iPad apps are still in place such as 'App
Store', 'Mail', 'Camera (redesigned to take into account the new
optics)', the brilliant 'Safari' browser, and of course 'iTunes'. Not to
mention the fun stuff like 'YouTube', 'Music', 'Game Center', 'Photo
Booth' and 'Videos'. Only this time they all look even better thanks to
the Retina screen technology now being used on the New Apple iPad. The
same goes for the rest of em' - 'FaceTime', 'Maps', 'Notes',
'Newsstand', 'Messages', 'Calendar', 'Reminders' and 'Contacts'.
One new feature to take note of is 'Voice Dictation' which supports US
English, British, Australian, French, German and Japanese languages. It
can be used via a new microphone button found on the virtual keyboard.
Give it a quick tap and start talking, in the same way you do with the
iPhone 4S. The dictation feature can also be used with third party apps,
so you'll be able to speak your tweets and Facebook status updates
instead of typing them.
