    Apple iPad Mini 64GB WiFi - White/Silver

The full iPad experience - There's less of it, but no less to it.

Everything you love about iPad — the beautiful screen, fast and fluid performance, FaceTime and iSight cameras, thousands of amazing apps, 10-hour battery life* — is everything you’ll love about iPad mini too. And you can hold it in one hand.

Beautiful 7.9-Inch Display - A screen worth of iPad
Colours are vivid and text is sharp on the iPad mini display. But what really makes it stand out is its size. At 7.9 inches, it’s perfectly sized to deliver an experience every bit as big as iPad.

    Main Features:
    • Thin, light design - iPad mini is a mere 7.2mm thin and 308g light.
    • iSight camera - iPad mini features a 5MP, five-element iSight camera — the smallest ever in an iPad.
    • Incredible fit and finish - The diamond-cut chamfer joins seamlessly with the glass display.
    • Lightning connector - The Lightning connector is designed to be durable and reversible.
    • All-aluminium unibody - The entire enclosure is machined from a solid block of aluminium.
Over 275,000 Apps - If it's made for iPad Mini
Right from the start, apps made for iPad also work with iPad mini. They’re immersive, full-screen apps that let you do almost anything you can imagine. And they make iPad mini practically impossible to put down.

Ultra-Fast Wireless - Fast Connections. The world over.
With advanced Wi-Fi that’s up to twice as fast as any previous-generation iPad and access to fast mobile data networks around the world, iPad mini lets you download content, stream video and browse the web at amazing speeds

The whole package. In a smaller package.
A beautiful display, powerful A5 chip, FaceTime HD camera, iSight camera with 1080p HD video recording, ultra-fast wireless and over 275,000 apps ready to download from the App Store. iPad mini is an iPad in every way, shape and slightly smaller form.

Beautiful 7.9-Inch display - A screen worthy of iPad

    Perfectly sized LED-backlit display.
iPad mini makes one thing clear: its 7.9-inch display more than measures up to the complete iPad experience. View web pages in Safari. See where you are and what’s around you using Maps.1 Flick through your photos and watch videos in vivid detail. And wave hello to the family on a FaceTime call.2 The iPad mini display uses the same LED backlight technology as iPad to give you plenty of zing per square inch. And it’s perfectly sized to work with hundreds of thousands of apps made for iPad.

    Thin and light design.
iPad mini has everything that makes an iPad an iPad, but it’s a fraction of the size. At just 7.2 millimetres, it’s pencil thin and unbelievably light.3 You can easily hold it in your palm. And stash it in your smallest bag without a second thought, so it’s always close at hand.

    Built-in apps.
Straight out of the box, iPad mini is ready for big things. Map out your next adventure. Then shoot it in 1080p HD. Ask Siri to help you find the best pizza in town. Watch a webcast or a film. Read a best-seller or a magazine. Check email. Send messages. Or stay in touch face to face over FaceTime. You’ll be amazed at how much is built right in.1

Over 275,000 apps from the App Store.
The App Store is home to over 275,000 iPad apps and counting.4 And right from the start, they work on iPad mini. But quantity is only part of the story. These are beautiful, immersive, made-just-for-iPad apps. And they change the way you do everything. You can make a spreadsheet for work, make a Hollywood-style trailer for fun, plan a lesson, plan a trip or simply plan a meal — all on a device you can hold in one hand.

Incredible Performance - Mini is mighty

    Powerful A5 chip.
iPad is known for its fast, fluid performance, and iPad mini doesn’t disappoint. It features the powerful and power-efficient A5 chip, which makes everything you do feel smooth and natural. From the little things like switching from app to app and swiping from page to page, to the big things like editing photos, watching films and playing games.

    10-hour battery life.
iPad mini wouldn’t be an iPad without incredible battery life. Even with so much performance packed into such a small space, it still lasts up to 10 hours on a single charge.5 So you can read, watch, play, write and create whatever you want, as long as you want.

FaceTime and iSight cameras - With two built-in camera, every side is its good side.

Wave hello with FaceTime video calling.
With FaceTime built into iPad mini, you can make a video call over Wi-Fi or a mobile network.2 The front-facing FaceTime HD camera gives everyone a great view of you, while the iSight camera on the back lets you show others what you’re seeing. So even when you’re out and about, your friends and family are never out of the loop. You can hear every laugh and see every smile. And with the 7.9-inch display, you’ve got more than enough screen to take in the whole scene. You can also use the front-facing camera for taking self-portraits or recording 720p HD video

Record HD video in full 1080p.
An impromptu performance on the train, the winning goal at your son’s football match, an amazing 360-degree view from the top of the mountain — the iSight camera on iPad mini lets you capture all these unpredictable, beautiful, spectacular moments. In 1080p HD, no less. The spacious iPad mini display gives you a great view of whatever you’re filming. And with automatic video stabilisation, your recording is free of bumps and shakes. So your videos are instantly ready to share.

    Shoot 5-megapixel still images.
The 5-megapixel iSight camera features a backside illumination sensor that captures great-looking pictures whether by sunlight or candlelight. When you shoot photos, the big, beautiful iPad mini display becomes a big, beautiful viewfinder — giving you plenty of room to compose your shot. Autofocus, tap to focus and tap to set exposure functions mean every photo you take instantly becomes frame-worthy. And with built-in face detection that automatically balances focus and exposure across up to 10 faces, there’s more room for more grins. So everyone look at iPad mini and say “Cheese”.

Ultra-Fast wireless. Fast connections. The world over.

    Advanced Wi-Fi technology. Built in.
iPad mini features advanced Wi-Fi that’s up to twice as fast as any previous-generation iPad. With dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) 802.11n Wi-Fi and support for channel bonding, download speeds can reach up to 150 Mbps.6 Translation: the things you do every day may start to feel a whole lot faster.

    Next-Generation mobile connectivity
If you want to connect to the Internet even when you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, choose iPad mini with Wi-Fi + Cellular. It can make ultra-fast mobile network connections around the world — including advanced wireless networks such as HSPA, HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA. So you can download content, stream video and browse the web at amazing speeds — without a contract or long-term commitment.

    Siri - You're intelligent assistant

    Just ask Siri.
Siri is the intelligent assistant that helps you get things done, just by asking. Talk to Siri as you would to a person: ask “Do I need an umbrella?” or “What time is the barbecue on Sunday?” Siri not only understands what you say, it knows what you mean. It works out the right apps to use to find the right answer. Then, just like a personal assistant, Siri provides you with the information you need.7

    iOS - Operating System

The world’s most advanced mobile operating system.
At the core of every iPad, iPhone or iPod touch is iOS. It includes all the built-in apps you use every day and all the intuitive technology — like Multi-Touch and Siri — that makes iPad mini so advanced. With every free iOS update comes even more capability for your devices. You’ll find the latest version, iOS 6, already installed on iPad mini. So straight out of the box, you get more than 200 new features to make the things you do

i-Cloud - Built Directly into the iPad

Your content. On all your devices.
iCloud is built directly into iPad mini. Just turn it on and you’ll have instant access to all the things you need, whether you’re on your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac or PC.8 New features in iOS 6 let you do even more with iCloud. Share the photos you want with the people you choose using Shared Photo Streams. Locate, lock and recover your misplaced iPad mini easier than ever. Browse a web page on one device and pick up where you left off on another using iCloud Tabs. And that’s just for starters.

AirPlay - Play it on your iPad Mini. Watch it on your HDTV.

    Stream via AirPlay.
All the great stuff on your iPad mini — your music, photos and videos — can stream wirelessly to your HDTV and speakers via Apple TV9 or to AirPlay-enabled speakers over a Wi-Fi network. With just a tap of the AirPlay icon, you can rock the house with your favourite album, have a film night or show off some photos. And go large.

    Print via AirPrint.
Print straight from your iPad mini over Wi-Fi with AirPrint. There’s no software to download, no drivers to install and no cables to connect. Print from Mail, Photos, Safari and iBooks. Or any of the iWork apps — Pages, Keynote and Numbers. With just a few taps, you can send whatever’s onscreen to an AirPrint-enabled printer.

iPad mini Smart Cover - Smaller, but just as smart

Made for iPad mini. And vice versa.
The cover that wakes up, stands up and brightens up iPad has been redesigned for iPad mini.10 And what a smart pair they are. iPad mini and the iPad mini Smart Cover, that is. Magnetic technology built into each one really pulls them together. The Smart Cover snaps perfectly into place to protect your screen — without adding bulk. Open the Smart Cover and your iPad mini wakes up. Close it and your iPad mini goes to sleep. Fold the Smart Cover and it becomes a stand. It’s all just so, well, smart.

Lightning Connector - Smaller, Smarter, Durable, Reversible

A new way to get connected.

iPad mini is so thin and light, it requires an ultra-slim connector. It’s called the Lightning connector, and it features an all-digital, eight-signal design that’s significantly more durable than the 30-pin connector. Another brilliant feature of Lightning: it’s reversible. Which means there’s no wrong way to plug in the cable.

    Lightning to 30-pin Adapter.
If you have an iPad accessory that depends on the 30-pin connector, you can still connect it to your iPad mini. Simply use a Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (sold separately).

    DESIGN

Making an iPad this small was no small feat.
Our goal was clear: create the smallest possible iPad that could still deliver the full iPad experience. iPad mini is 23 per cent thinner, 53 per cent lighter* and fits in one hand — yet it can do everything an iPad can do. To accomplish that, we went back to the very beginning and designed it from scratch.

Since iPad is all about the display, that’s where we started. We wanted it to be small, but not too small. It had to be big enough to do all the things you love to do on iPad. And it had to work with all the apps made for iPad. With that as our guide, we were able to determine the perfect size: 7.9 inches. Because at that size, it feels like an iPad in every way — only it’s mini.

But iPad mini isn’t just a scaled-down iPad. We designed it to be a concentration, rather than a reduction, of the original. A refined unibody consolidates more parts into one. A single-cell battery — the thinnest ever made by Apple — takes up less space, but lasts just as long. The iSight camera is smaller, yet still takes 5-megapixel photos and shoots full 1080p HD video. And while the display is slimmer and lighter, it’s also incredibly vibrant.

    DISPLAY:

An amazing display. Any way you look at it.
The iPad mini display stands out in all the right ways. It has the same 1024x768 resolution as iPad 2 — in a size that’s significantly smaller. So everything looks incredibly crisp and sharp. And since the iPad mini display has a 35 per cent larger screen than a 7-inch tablet, everything is easier to read and interact with. The iPad mini display is also designed to take greater advantage of every pixel. So apps, magazines and documents fill the screen, from top to bottom and edge to edge. In portrait and in landscape.

A display that's not just smaller. It's smarter.
iPad mini is small. But when you use it, it doesn’t feel small. That’s because it’s designed to give you the maximum amount of screen in the minimum amount of space. To achieve that, we had to rethink the relationship between the screen and the overall shape of the product. iPad has symmetrical bezels around all its edges. But for iPad mini, we reduced the width of the bezels on two sides of the display. So although the screen is smaller, it’s even more prominent. Rethinking the screen meant we also had to rethink the software behind it. iPad mini intelligently recognises whether your thumb is simply resting on the display or whether you’re intentionally interacting with it. It’s the kind of detail you’ll notice — by not noticing it. And it’s a great example of how Apple hardware and software work together to give you the best experience possible.

    It all comes together beautifully
In making iPad mini, we executed every detail with extraordinary precision. That’s what gives iPad mini its incredible fit and finish. Take, for example, the aluminium unibody — our most advanced yet. We took everything we’ve learned about making a unibody enclosure and refined the process to be even more material-efficient and exact. With tolerances measured in microns, mono-crystalline diamond-cut edges and sleek metallic finishes, iPad mini was designed and engineered to incredibly high standards. And you can sense that every time you pick it up. It feels beautifully made. Precisely because it is.

    Camera:

Great shots are in the details.
Mega-pixels matter. But the quality of a photo is determined by other things too — like the camera’s optics, image signal processor and software. The iSight camera uses advanced optics to give you the best picture possible. With an ƒ/2.4 aperture and a five-element lens, it captures light efficiently to produce a sharper and brighter overall image. And the hybrid infrared filter — typically reserved for expensive SLR cameras — keeps out harmful IR light for more accurate, uniform colours.

    Advancements that go layers deep.
The five-element camera lens built into iPad mini captures light efficiently to produce a sharper and brighter overall image.

The thought and consideration we put in to our products go well beyond design.
How a product looks and performs matters, but so does its impact on the environment. That’s why nearly every Apple product is made from highly recyclable materials like aluminium, and why we refuse to use harmful toxins in our components.

Every iPad mini is free of brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). In fact, Apple has one of the strictest BFR-free and PVC-free standards in the industry. And we expect the same from our suppliers. We go so far as to disassemble our products into individual components and materials in our Cupertino lab. Then we test them using many methods, including X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and ion chromatography. We do this to ensure that every product we release meets our environmental standards.

    Built-in Apps

Does every little thing. And every big one too.
Browse the web. Check email. Make FaceTime calls. Share your photos. Or ask Siri to do it all for you. iPad mini features the same helpful, fun and everyday essential built-in apps as iPad. So you can do all the things you love to do. On a device that’s thinner, lighter and every bit as immersive.
